Events
Every event below takes place in the Universal Blind Café's voice rooms on Discord, and all of them are free. Our hosts are volunteers from the community.
Times here are in Eastern Time (New York). In Discord, the Events item at the top of the channel list shows each event in your own time zone, and choosing Interested gets you a reminder before it starts. New to Discord? Here's how to join.

Between Events
The voice rooms are open all day, every day, so you can drop in for a chat any time. They're busiest from late afternoon into the evening, Eastern Time. Mornings bring a quieter, more laid-back crowd, including many of our European members.
Found an empty room? Come in anyway. We have a first-in spirit here: hang out for a bit, even on your own, and others will see the light on and stop by. You can also ping members who've turned on Voice alerts to let them know you're there.
There's more beyond the schedule, too: volunteer-led Braille study groups, occasional streams of blind and other sports, and text channels for assistive tech, books, faith, blind-accessible games and plenty more.
Host an Event
Every event here started with a member who wanted to share something they love. If you have an idea, apply to be a Host on our Join the Leadership Team page.
